The Chickahominy Volunteer Fire Department is part of Hanover Fire & EMS, a combination system consisting of a team of very dedicated career and volunteer emergency responders working side by side. Hundreds of men and women staff our sixteen stations throughout the county. Our strength is in the training and preparedness our emergency services team strives to provide. The Chickahominy Volunteer Fire Department is part of Hanover Fire & EMS, a division of the Public Safety Department.

CVFD Station #10 is located in the Hanover Industrial Air Park in the south-central part of Hanover County along the busy I-95 corridor, just north of I-295. We currently maintain an active membership of about 20 Volunteer Members and 16 Career Members. Career firefighters are on-duty 7 days a week, 365 days a year with volunteers supplementing this schedule.
